Bowne Expands Web-Based Solution Aligning with Shareholder.com

Press release from the issuing company

NEW YORK, Bowne & Co. Inc., the world's largest financial printer and a leader in document and information management, today announced it has formed an exclusive strategic alliance with Shareholder.com, the industry leader in delivering technologies for communication to investors. The alliance will enable Bowne to offer its customers an expanded set of web-based investor relations' solutions on a worldwide basis. "Today's investors expect shareholder communications in both print and electronic formats," said Duncan Varty, president of Bowne's financial printing unit. "Our alliance with Shareholder.com means we can offer a variety of turn-key investor relations packages to complement the services we already provide in transactional and corporate reporting financial printing." Earlier this year, Bowne rolled out an investor relations web package with basic, end-to-end features including timely stock price feeds, customized charts and stock performance pages, press releases and other assorted investor information. The new alliance between Bowne and Shareholder.com provides companies with not only these "basics," but also enhanced IR services that quickly and efficiently establish IR communications via the Internet. IR websites, webcasts, news-push technologies, conference calls, interactive phone applications, mail fulfillment and electronic proxy voting are just part of the enhanced offerings available. "The new Fair Disclosure Regulations require that IR professionals communicate with ALL investors and analysts at the same time with the same information. The web provides an excellent channel over which to do so, and we are pleased to be working with Shareholder.com and their Internet innovations to help our customers comply with the Reg FD," Varty added.
