Eoex Corp. Announces 'Quick Pack' Stock Sheet Program For Styrex 320 High-Impact Polystyreng

Press release from the issuing company

Janesville, WI, March 12, 2006 – GOEX Corp., the Janesville, Wis.-based manufacturer of printable custom plastic sheet, is pleased to introduce the Quick Pack Stock Sheet program for STYREX 320 High-Impact Polystyrene (HIPS). The new program is designed to enable small-volume printers to seize the opportunity to grow into the burgeoning market for printing on plastic. Value-added plastic products such as membership and ID cards; phone, gift and promotional cards; signage, packaging, shelf danglers, POP displays and more can be the ticket to diversification and higher profits for small-volume printers, provided they are able to purchase limited quantities of the substrate on a job-by-job basis. “The purpose of our Quick Pack Stock Sheet program is to service the small-volume market demand so that customers have an opportunity to buy HIPS material directly from the manufacturer,” says GOEX President Josh Gray. “Buying material directly from the manufacturer provides assurance that sheet color and finish will be dependably consistent, order-to-order. We produce the material in bulk, keep it in stock and sell it, based on economies of scale. We find our customers appreciate the accommodation.” Quality and Convenience To Go The GOEX Quick Pack Stock Sheet program is designed to meet the needs of users who experience an occasional, event-specific need for smaller quantities of polystyrene sheet. Such requests are a daily occurrence at GOEX, according to Vice President of Sales Bob Waddell. “The economics of producing smaller quantities are problematic for an extruder in terms of machine set-up and start-up,” says Waddell. “It takes the same amount of set-up cost to produce 500 pounds of white polystyrene as it does to produce a 40,000-pound truckload volume. Our Quick Pack Stock Sheet program effectively addresses the economics and makes our customer the beneficiary.”
