Printable Technologies Appoints J. Josh Roach, EVP Technology

Printable Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of Web to Print workflow and Variable Data Printing (VDP) solutions and Software as a Service (SaaS), today announced the appointment of Josh Roach to the newly-created position of Executive Vice President of Technology. Roach has had an extensive career focused on large-scale software development with such companies as Intuit, HNC Software (acquired by Fair Isaacs), and others. “As Printable Technologies continues to grow and mature; we welcome the talent and focus that Josh brings to us,” said Coleman Kane, CEO and President, Printable Technologies. “Late 2005, we launched an initiative to deliver full-featured, broadly-functional, and affordable VDP solutions to the marketplace. Now, 15 months later, we have thousands of users of FusionPro Desktop, FusionPro Direct, FusionPro Server, and other FusionPro products. The FusionPro User Forum serves nearly 1000 members. Growth like this requires the direction of a skilled strategist who can also deliver end results. Josh is a great asset for Printable Technologies!” Prior to joining Printable Technologies, Roach was co-founder of Convisia, a hosted enterprise software company that delivers complex images and instant collaboration to PCs, laptops and handhelds over wired and wireless connections, he served as chief architect and product designer. Before Convisia, he was Vice President of Software Engineering and Product Management for Intuit’s “Eclipse” division; a $50 million division that builds ERP software for the distribution industry. At Intuit, Roach was responsible for a staff of 150 and developed a long term software architecture and product strategy for the division. Roach also held executive positions at Accelrys, A-Life Medical, and HNC Software, all located in San Diego, CA. Roach holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, and Mathematics from San Diego State University. He combines his interest in mathematics with his skills in classical piano and guitar.
