Press release from the issuing company

Minneapolis, Minnesota, February 12, 2007, Barrycon Productions, an independent event organizer specializing in Adobe software and producer of the Creative Suite and InDesign conferences, today announced two new additions to their 2007 program. The Pixel Conference, focusing on Adobe Photoshop for designers, will be held April 30 through May 3, 2007, and The Vector Conference, focusing on Adobe Illustrator and Flash, will be held May 1 through 3. Both conferences will be held at the Chicago City Centre hotel in downtown Chicago. Designers can attend one or both events, and Barrycon is offering special pricing for attending both events and for early bird registration before February 17, 2007. Combined, the Pixel Conference and The Vector Conference feature three days of educational classes targeted at both beginner and expert graphic designers as well as Photoshop users. Presenters at the conferences include some of the best-known educators in the industry including Deke McClelland, David Blatner, Sandee Cohen, Terry White, Anne-Marie Concepción, Mordy Golding , Michael Ninness, Colin Smith and Ben Wilmore. Together, the shows provide 52 individual classes and 8 tutorials covering Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash and other professional design products. “Professionals who use Photoshop and Illustrator in their daily work know how powerful these tools are, but they often don’t know how to get the most out of the programs. The Pixel and The Vector conferences offer an intimate learning environment delivered by expert Adobe product trainers,” said Barry Anderson, The Creative Suite Conference founder and organizer. “The in-depth, comprehensive learning approach helps professionals in optimizing their skills and achieves great results.” Scheduled for April 30 through May 2, 2007, The Pixel Conference will focus on real world pixel-control, from industrial-strength tonal and color correction to preparing images for both print and Web output. On the other hand, The Vector Conference will concentrate on Illustrator and Flash applications and is scheduled for May 2 through May 3, 2007. The first day of The Vector Conference also overlaps with The Pixel Conference and includes cross-training sessions on using pixels inside Adobe Illustrator, vectors inside Photoshop and how to maintain the highest quality when mixing pixels, vectors and type. David Blatner, the conferences’ editorial director and program chairman, added, “We’ve never put all these speakers in the same city before. The Photoshop and Illustrator tips and tricks are going to fly!” These special sessions are available to those attendees purchasing a platinum pass, which allows participants to attend both conferences. Also, both three-day and two-day passes are available as well. Conferences attendees will also receive a detailed conference workbook containing notes, presentation slides and graphics supplied by the instructors from each conference session.
