Industry Leaders Throw Support Behind Xplor

Press release from the issuing company

Lutz, FL—February 9, 2007 – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced that industry leaders have shown significant support for Xplor, each by way of platinum sponsorships that provide year long marketing campaigns to the sponsors. Both Eastman Kodak and IBM will take advantage of sponsorship opportunities with Xplor that include advertising on www.xplor.org and www.xplor2007.org, newsletter advertising on E-Document News, email campaigns, direct mail, as well as webinars and podcasts. In addition, both sponsors will also take advantage of opportunities for heightened visibility at Xplor Document University’s annual conference, February 28 through March 4, 2007 in conjunction with Graphics of the Americas at the Miami Beach Convention Center. “We are heartened by the show of support led by two of the industry’s suppliers,” said Skip Henk, EDP, president and CEO of Xplor. “Both sponsors recognize the importance of life-long learning and education as demonstrated by their commitment to Xplor.” Announced earlier this year, Xplor’s Document University is an ongoing program of technical, executive and professional development programs and products designed to provide members and the electronic document industry with education tools needed to excel in today’s professional environment. Xplor has already introduced a variety of educational programs that make use of social media including webinars, blogs and podcasts in addition to their annual conference, February 28 through March 4, 2007 in conjunction with Graphics of the Americas at the Miami Beach Convention Center. In addition to the educational programs, Xplor Document University also allows industry vendors sponsorship opportunities and to contribute program content. Industry vendors wishing to explore sponsorship opportunities with Xplor should contact Deborah Green at [email protected], Skip Henk at [email protected] or by calling (813) 948-3038.
