FUJIFILM Dimatix Names Martin Schoeppler Vice President of Marketing and Sales

SANTA CLARA, Calif. and LEBANON, N.H., Jan. 23 -- FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc. today announced that Martin Schoeppler has been named vice president of marketing and sales for the entire organization. Schoeppler joined the company in 2004 as vice president of corporate strategic business development and vice president of marketing and sales for the Materials Deposition Division. He oversaw the development of new applications that benefit from the digital deposition of various materials including new functional fluids. Schoeppler now oversees marketing and sales of all FUJIFILM Dimatix products, including system products and Spectra branded OEM printheads. "Martin has successfully led our materials deposition marketing and sales efforts, launching that technology, spreading awareness of its benefits and creating great market demand," said John Batterton, president and CEO, FUJIFILM Dimatix. "Martin has extensive experience in marketing, sales, business management and strategic planning across multiple markets. These skills are invaluable as we continue to address the global printing and imaging markets through our Spectra printhead products, and the electronics, electronic displays, RFID, bioscience, and other markets through our FUJIFILM Dimatix materials deposition products." "The industrial ink jet market is in a very exciting growth phase," said Schoeppler. Schoeppler is a seasoned international executive with more than 25 years of senior management experience in high technology marketing, sales and business development at Hewlett-Packard Co., Lumileds Lighting, and Agilent Technologies, Inc., where he served as senior director of marketing of the Semiconductor Products Group. Schoeppler obtained a BSEE degree in Electronics and Telecommunications with a minor in Business from the University of Applied Science in Esslingen, Germany, and studied Advanced Industrial Marketing at INSEAD in France.
