BRIOprint expands to Missouri

Press release from the issuing company

January 19, 2007 -- BRIOprint, a leading commercial offset printing company providing large format sheetfed printing, heat set web printing, and other offset printing services, has expanded its direct sales force into the state of Missouri. Large format sheet fed and heat set web printing account for 90% of BRIOprint's shipped revenues. Toward the end of 2005, the company began examining the origins and purchasing patterns within its extensive client base. They found numerous markets where their competitive advantages are most pronounced. "Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas -- these states represent tremendous opportunity to us," said Marino. "It isn't so much a lack of commercial printing companies in these areas, but rather a lack of diversity within meager numbers. Throw a rock in Minneapolis, and you'll hit some type of commercial printing company whether it be a screener or a web outfit or a 40" plus sheet fed house. We've got a lot of iron in our backyard, and this is particularly appealing to states where print manufacturing is not a core export." With the strategic placement in Saint Louis, BRIOprint is betting that its diverse strengths will be attractive to neighboring states with limited commercial printing options. Though he was not at liberty to identify other target markets for expansion, Marino did state that BRIOprint "will continue to expand as demand and competitive advantages continue to reveal themselves." For 2007, BRIOprint has targeted the Southeast as well as the state of Texas as possible expansion sites. Currently, nearly 99% of BRIOprint's print related revenues originate outside of the state of Minnesota where it is headquartered. Marino attributes BRIOprint's success in reaching and selling to clients nationwide to "knowledge, experience, and most importantly, enthusiasm" that can be effectively communicated, even via non-traditional communication methods.
