Arévalo, a highly qualified software Engineer from I.T.E.S.M., with a master’s degree in photography. Arévalo was in charge of the re-engineering and implementation of the new electronic prepress departments for the Reforma Group Newspapers which operates in Mexico with four newspapers in four different states: Reforma, El Norte, Mural and Palabra. ”With the implementation of new controls and new digital equipment on the production process we were able to improve by 85% the quality and speed our pre-press operation,” explains Hilda Arévalo “which allowed the newspaper to recover all the investment in no more than a month’s worth of labor. With Impostrip Page Pairing and Ink Ready, I will be able to bring top solutions for newspapers.” Arévalo also worked as a Quality Control Director for the electronic pre-press department at Editorial Televisa, which is the largest and most important editorial in Mexico, coordinating and controlling the quality and color reproduction of their external print shops.
