Xplor Launches College/University Membership Program

Press release from the issuing company

Lutz, FL—January 17, 2006 – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced their “college / university” membership program. Targeted at professors, teachers and students at the college and university level, the program is designed to expose those individuals to real world experience found through Xplor’s association membership, educational mediums and annual conferences. The program is open to all graphic arts and printing departments within universities and colleges. The program is initially being introduced in the U.S. “Centers of higher education are often ignored by industry associations while in fact educators and students are key to the industry at large,” said Skip Henk, EDP, president and CEO of Xplor International. “Our program will benefit all: Professors will have access to industry leaders and information while students can enhance their traditional education program with exposure to working professionals and member benefits.” Effective January 20, 2007, recognized departments within colleges and universities can take advantage of this new membership. The annual membership dues will be $250.00 USD and can include up to four professors or teachers and an unlimited number of student members with the approval of their professor. In addition, an individual or personal educator fee will be $100.00 USD annually. Xplor’s higher college/university membership program will provide access to Xplor’s publications including E-Document News and Xplorer newsletters, webinars and podcasts, research and whitepapers and participation in local chapter and regional events.
