Imprimerie Centrale Takes Lead in Customer Service with Agfa's Enterprise Solutions

Mortsel, Belgium — 15 January 2007 — Agfa Graphics announced today that it has extended its partnership with Imprimerie Centrale, a leading printing company in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Agfa’s latest enterprise software for prepress automation and project management will enable Imprimerie Centrale to further improve remote and online customer service while integrating their existing Management Information Systems (MIS) from Gamsys (Spa, Belgium). The new contract includes a full suite of the :Delano project management solution (:Delano Production), linked to the latest version of prepress automation software :ApogeeX 3.5. Digital proofing will use :Sherpaproof for hardcopy and :Delano StreamProof for remote contract softproofing. For digital platemaking, Imprimerie Centrale will install 2 :Avalon LF thermal CtP systems for use with Agfa’s digital plates. The Agfa software can also integrate Imprimerie Centrale’s digital and offset printing presses for maximum production and service efficiencies. Imprimerie Centrale is the first printing company in Luxembourg to implement these graphic enterprise solutions.
