Integrity Graphics Installs Third Komori Press

Press release from the issuing company

Rolling Meadows, IL, January 10, 2007-Komori America Corporation, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, today announced that Integrity Graphics, a full-service commercial printer that produces all types of marketing collateral materials for a broad-based clientele, has installed a 40” six-color Lithrone S40 perfector (LS640P) at its facility in Windsor, Connecticut. The cutting-edge technologies of the LS640P, including CIP4, closed-loop color and automated plate changing, allow Integrity Graphics to operate more efficiently and productively with improved color accuracy and print quality. Integrity Graphics reports that since installing the new press, running speed is up by 30 percent and makeready times have been cut in half. The LS640P is the company's third Komori press, replacing an older Heidelberg press. “We were looking for state-of-the-art, the latest and greatest in new technologies,” said Joe La Valla, who co-founded Integrity Graphics in 1988 as a prepress service provider. “We wanted to continue to enhance our production efficiency and have the ability to move our press crews from one press to another with ease. I like Komori's design-the equipment underneath the skin. There's more steel and they're better built. I also like the color consistency we get with Komori's presses. We have significant front and back color balance with this new press, allowing us to ensure color consistency throughout the print run.” “And the service from Komori is great,” he added. “Our representative understands our needs and requirements, and never tries to sell us something we don't need. The technical service is very responsive and any issues are addressed immediately.” Since its beginnings, Integrity Graphics has been an innovator. The company was an early adopter of color digital photography and computer-to-plate technologies, and in addition to full-color offset printing, currently provides variable data web-to-print services. The new LS640P, which prints both sides of a sheet in a single pass is a perfect fit for Integrity's fully-automated front-end workflow and allows the company to take greater advantage of its extensive bindery capabilities. “The Lithrone S40 makes it possible for Integrity Graphics to expand its print capacity without having to retool the whole plant,” said Ken Sabol, vice president of sales for Komori's Eastern Region. “Integrity's strategy has always been to utilize the most advanced technologies to provide customers with the highest quality work at competitive prices. We're pleased that Komori has been selected to support them in these efforts.” About Komori America Corporation Toyko-based Komori Corporation, a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, provides world class technology especially suited for today's highly competitive printing marketplace.
