Press release from the issuing company

DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 12 -- Standard Register was recently awarded a 2006 National Quality Excellence Award from Comerica Bank. The vendor award, established in 1998, recognizes suppliers who have been nominated by Comerica employees for their outstanding contribution to the company's vision and core values. Standard Register was one of three Comerica suppliers that received the award this year. It has provided Comerica with enterprise document services for six years. "From the beginning, Standard Register approached our relationship as a true partnership. They have been creative in their solutions offered and adapt as Comerica continuously refines business processes to meet our customer needs," said Susan Newman, Comerica vice president of corporate purchasing. More than 12,000 vendors were eligible for nomination in 2006. Nominations may include references from Comerica employees, bank customers, as well as key performance measurements and service level results. "The purpose of this award is to recognize vendors who consistently stand out in the way they provide service, the way they treat Comerica employees and customers, both internal and external, and the positive attitude they display," said Newman. "Standard Register certainly subscribes to our value of building enduring relationships with customers." "On behalf of the many Standard Register employees who support Comerica, we are proud and honored to receive this award," said Larry Moore, senior account manager for Standard Register "We strive to be a 'trusted partner' for Comerica Bank."
