Generic wide format inkjet ink manufacturer Fillink Technologies SA has announced the appointment of Henry Maya as East Coast and Latin America Sales Manager for its subsidiary company, Fillink America. The role will see Maya assume responsibility for overall business growth across the territories, as well as for the development of Fillinks rapidly expanding distributor network. Maya joins the fast-growing digital inks supplier from Ultraflex Systems Inc, where he was Latin America Sales Manager, responsible for developing business throughout the continent. This remit also saw him participate in assigning distributors and ensuring the growth of customer businesses through strategic product positioning and product specification for large scale projects. Prior to this, Maya managed the ink division for NUR America where he worked in conjunction with NURs engineers to develop new inks and other products including the companys Ink Cabinet. Commenting on his new appointment, Henry Maya, says, "Fillinks philosophy of delivering premium quality products combined with exceptional service is taking the European market by storm, and Im confident that American wide-format printers can quickly reap the same benefits as our European customers. The grand- and wide-format markets on both sides of the Atlantic are reaching a level of maturity whereby customers are comfortable with their hardware, they know what they want from their inks and substrates, and they are confident to cultivate new relationships with innovative suppliers who are tuned in to the commercial needs of their business." He continues, "My main objective is to mirror the success of Fillink in Europe to this side of the Atlantic by ensuring that we offer excellent quality, good prices, outstanding customer service and a wide portfolio of solutions " i.e. a one-stop solution for the ink needs for all printing companies, regardless of size". Mayas appointment bolsters the strength of Fillinks American operations, which is already equipped by an engineering team resourced with stocks and other equipment. Fillinks distributor network has also increased to include partners in the USA, including Miami-based DGS. Managing director of Fillink, Esmeralda Desart, comments on Henrys appointment: "We are thrilled to see someone like Henry, with his thorough knowledge of the marketplace, join us in America. Henrys expertise will be pivotal to ensuring our ambitious plans for the Americas are realized.
