Stora Enso adds more sheet options to its Futura Laser coated digital papers for iGen3

Press release from the issuing company

STAMFORD, Conn., November 21, 2006 – Stora Enso today announced the addition of Futura Laser Dull in 80 lb. and 100 lb. text and cover in the 20.5” x 14.3” size designed to maximize printing efficiencies for Xerox iGen3 production laser equipment. Dennis Essary, Stora Enso’s director of office papers in North America, explains the additional sheet sizes, “We continually seek feedback from our customers about our products. We learned our digital paper customers want to have a selection of papers with a variety of finishes that are commonly available with conventional offset papers. The addition of Futura Laser Dull in the larger format responds to this need.” All Futura Laser products are precision-cut and moisture-barrier wrapped for protection. The Futura Laser brand is guaranteed for Xerox iGen3 and digital offset printers, qualified for Kodak NexPress, and certified by the Rochester Institute of Technology for use with HP Indigo technology. It is engineered for maximum performance on dry- and liquid-toner technologies. Futura Laser’s ultra-stable formation and optimized surface mean better curl resistance, faster paper-tray feeding and high pages-per-minute speeds. It is made in an alkaline system to ensure archival quality. By providing these additional formats, Stora Enso continues to offer the most comprehensive line of digital paper products available in North America.
