Press release from the issuing company

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Nov. 20 -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced that Technesis Inc., a Ricoh Technology Alliance Member, has passed Ricoh's Compatibility Testing for its Print Management/Cost Recovery product. Ricoh's Compatibility Testing ensures that Technesis' print activity monitoring solution has been thoroughly integrated into the Ricoh Embedded Software Architecture (ESA) platform. With the customer in mind, Ricoh always looks for ways to seamlessly integrate enhanced solutions into its product lines and eliminate the need for external hardware. End users of Ricoh's ESA platform and Technesis' Print Management/Cost Recovery product will benefit from the integration through seamless interaction between hardware and software. The Technesis solution can now be accessed directly from the MFP's display panel. As a result, customers will recognize increased productivity through faster access to information and better control printing, track usage and manage costs all from one device. "Aligning with Ricoh is paramount to our effort to deliver superior print management solutions to customers," said Paul Collart, president of Technesis. "Ricoh is an industry leader in offering end-user solutions and we are proud that Technesis' Print Management/Cost Recovery products will enhance Ricoh's ability to support its customers." Ricoh's Technology Alliance Program is comprised of third-party software companies who specialize in niche solution offerings that complement Ricoh hardware and software technologies. Also, as part of the program, Technesis will be able promote the ESA integration through company marketing materials, existing channel partners and customers. "With Technesis as a Ricoh Technology Alliance Member, Ricoh continues to strengthen it service offerings," said Hede Nonaka, senior vice president, Document Solutions and Services Division, Ricoh Corporation. "Cost management and print job control are important to our customers and we look forward to collaborating with Technesis to meet these document management needs."
