November 20th, 2006 - The Wall Street Journal and the Orlando Sentinel have announced that they will co-host the 39th Metro Users Group annual conference to be held at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, from Saturday, February 17, to Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Following the success of the 2006 Conference in Tucson, Arizona, which hosted around 200 newspaper production delegates representing over 100 newspapers, the Metro Users Group urges members to register for the 2007 event as early as possible. For the 2007 event, a new feature will be the inclusion of three sequential one-hour training sessions, provided by experts from Goss International that will take place on the afternoon of Sunday, February 18 from 1:00pm - 4:30pm on: - Unit and folder rebuild - Former board setting and trouble shooting techniques - Productivity improvement All registered conference delegates are welcome to attend these training sessions. Monday's general session will include a technology update from Goss International and views on worldwide industry trends. Tuesday will feature break out sessions on requested product topics.
