Yamagata Adds New Digital Print Facility in China

Press release from the issuing company

SAN DIEGO--Nov. 17, 2006 -- With a new digital print partner in Beijing, China, Yamagata America Inc. has significantly increased marketing reach for its XLdoc customers. The Yamagata XLdoc marketing Web portal lets marketing and sales personnel log in from anywhere in the world to quickly create custom brochures, data sheets and other marketing collateral. Once the piece is created, they can order printed marketing materials in the exact quantities required. Materials are printed locally in Japan, Malaysia, Europe, the United States, and now China. China has one of the world's fastest growing economies, making the Beijing facility a vital part of the XLdoc digital printing network. In addition to inexpensively creating, updating and printing localized marketing collateral, XLdoc reduces marketing expenses related to obsolescence, warehousing and shipping. "XLdoc is a dynamic marketing tool that makes it easy to create, update and localize marketing materials," said Shiro Fujimoto, Yamagata America president. "The new print facility enables our clients to print these materials locally in China, saving time and money." The Beijing facility is equipped with HP Indigo 3050 and 5000 digital presses. It offers consistent, high quality color printing and fast turn around times for the global XLdoc on-demand publishing system. Yamagata America is aggressively working to further expand the XLdoc marketing Web portal with more digital print facilities, especially in the Asia Pacific region including Australia.
