Former CEO and CFO of Charrette to Lead New Wideformat Venture as Treck.Hall and Mondrian Canada Merge

Press release from the issuing company

November 13, 2006 - Sun Capital Partners, a private investment firm, said one of its affiliates, Mondrian Canada, has merged with Treck.Hall Limited. Treck.Hall is one of Canada's largest distributors of conventional photographic, large format inkjet, and digital imaging supplies and equipment. The two now form Mondrian-Hall, Inc. Terms of the merger were not disclosed. John "Jack" Ford III has been named CEO and Richard Johnson was named COO of Mondrian-Hall effective December, 2006. Ford was formerly CEO of Charrette LLC, a provider of digital and traditional imaging supplies, equipment, and services to the graphics, corporate, and technical design marketplaces, and the largest provider of wide-format inkjet equipment, supplies, and services in the U.S. Pitman acquired Charrette in July of 2006. Richard Johnson most recently was CFO of Charrette LLC since 1989. While bearing primary responsibility for Charrette's financial, IT, and operations functions, Mr. Johnson played a central role in strategic planning in many company-wide changes which divested non-strategic operations resulting in focused efforts on core businesses. Jason H. Neimark, Managing Director, Sun Capital Partners, Inc., stated, "The synergies resulting from the merger of two leading Canadian distributors and suppliers of high quality wide-format imaging systems will benefit Mondrian-Hall's customers by broadening its range of quality products and services. I am also pleased that Jack Ford and Richard Johnson have joined the Company. Their industry experience and leadership capabilities uniquely qualify them to help Mondrian-Hall grow its business." Jack Ford, CEO of Mondrian-Hall, Inc. added, "The combination of these two companies provides customers with the broadest range of wide-format imaging products in Canada, with distribution centers across the country for quick delivery and the most comprehensive technical services available. I look forward to working with the Mondrian-Hall management team to increase revenue, expand services, and position the company as the one-stop choice for technical and graphic design equipment, supplies, and technical support in Canada." John Hall, President, Treck.Hall Limited, said, "We at Treck.Hall are extremely excited about the opportunities available to the new company. Treck.Hall has made great strides in the large format printing market over the last few years, but the addition of Mondrian Canada's expertise and product portfolio will take us to a new level. We look forward to the addition of Jack Ford and Richard Johnson to the team and the wealth of experience they bring."
