Press release from the issuing company

Hauppauge, New York – Graph Expo was highly successful for Muller Martini in terms of the steady streams of people who visited the company’s booth and sales that were accomplished at the show. In order to achieve greater speed, versatility and profitability in a marketplace that continues to demand faster turnarounds with more production flexibility, printers and binders throughout the industry are steadily incorporating higher-end equipment into their operations. At this year’s Graph Expo show, visitors to booth #1229 saw why Muller Martini is at the forefront of new innovations in technologically-advanced machines and workflow strategies that can not only bring more productivity to shop floors...but can also create new opportunities for printers and binders to grow their sales and profits. “Automated machinery, and the ability of that machinery to be integrated with complementing technologies to perform several tasks cost-effectively, are two of the most important keys to success in today’s changing market,” said Werner Naegeli, President and CEO of Muller Martini Corp. “As the industry’s major provider of state-of-the-art print finishing systems for every production range, Muller Martini is the source that printing and binding businesses look to for equipment that delivers the highest levels of automation while also meeting their customers’ demands for a greater diversity of services and more value-added products.” During the Graph Expo show, Muller Martini demonstrated several of its latest print finishing machines, including the new 4,000 cycle per hour Pantera perfect binder with PUR capabilities which made its U.S. industry debut. Also demonstrated was the 13,000 c/hr. BravoPlus saddle stitcher with AMRYS (Automatic Make-Ready System) and inside/outside inkjet capabilities, as well as the 9,000 c/hr. Presto saddle stitcher together with the Palamides automatic banding machine, and the 6,000 c/hr. Valore saddle stitcher with a Bograma die-cutter which allows miniature and special booklets finished in line. In addition to print finishing equipment, Muller Martini featured its Alprinta-V continuously size-variable web offset press, focusing on the many benefits that the Alprinta-V can bring to the packaging market.
