Openfirst acquires six new BOWE BELL HOWELL BBH 250S high-speed inserters

Fredericksburg, Va., Oct. 25, 2006 – Openfirst, a high-volume variable imaging and print production company, has purchased six new BBH 250S inserters from BÖWE BELL + HOWELL. The versatile high-speed inserters have been installed in Openfirst’s production facility in Fredericksburg, Va., and will help them meet customer demand for increased direct-mail production capacity. The BBH 250S machine is capable of inserting as many as six items into an envelope and is capable of a maximum mechanical rate of 18,000 cycles per hour. The inserters feature rotary feeders which can be interchanged with other feeders, such as shuttle feeders if needed, to accommodate Openfirst’s production needs. They can accommodate envelopes up to 6” x 11”. All six new inserters are currently in operation at Openfirst.
