Press release from the issuing company

October 24, 2006, Sewickley, PA -- PIA/GATF and its Presidents Conference Advisory Committee announce the 2007 Presidents Conference program lineup for March 4–8, 2007, at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa in Chandler, AZ. “The Presidents Conference is an annual three and a half-day program of current management issues affecting owners, presidents, and senior executives in the industry. With the printing industry grappling with the incredible speed of change and companies faced with reduced revenues, demanding customers, and finding ways to reduce costs and expand customer share, this is an Industry at the Crossroads, the theme of the annual Presidents Conference,” says Michael Makin, president and CEO, PIA/GATF. To address the difficulty in leading a company to profitability and growth during these challenging times, “we've chosen Michael Brandwein, internationally recognized communications and leadership development expert who will address Leadership at the Crossroads: Recharging Changeability in Ourselves and Others,” states William J. Gibson, chair for the 2007 President Conference. Other general sessions speakers are Marcus Nicolls, partner, Partners in Leadership, Inc., who will present the formula for learning critical skills for operationalizing a positive approach to accountability for profitability achievement using the famous Oz Principle. Martin Anson, president, Bindagraphics, Inc., Baltimore MD, Ward Griffin, president, The Lowe-Martin Group of Ottawa, ON, and Eric C. Webber, president, Cohber, Inc., Rochester, NY, will discuss the crossroads decisions that led to their recreating their companies and their business models. Buzz Sutherland, professional speaker, closes the conference general session programming with “It’s All About Family”—the link to success in all we do. Additional seminars and workshops at the conference will be addressed by Steven Schnoll, Schnoll Media Consulting, Sid Chadwick, Chadwick Consulting, John M. Hamm, John M. Hamm & Associates, T.J. Tedesco, Grow Sales, Inc., Thomas Playford and Robert Cronin, The Open Approach.
