Lasermax Roll Systems Shows New Folder at Graph Expo 06

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL (October 20, 2006) - In a highlight of its Graph Expo 06 participation, Lasermax Roll Systems showed a technology demonstration of its new RSF5 Folder in-line bulk fanfolding solution for high-speed digital web printers in the Lasermax Roll Systems booth #2641. Along with a space-efficient length of less than 8 feet (including transport cart), the completely new RSF5 Folder offers an expanded specification (when compared to current Lasermax Roll Systems folders), high performance, ease of use, and flexibility features: Expanded specification: The Folder runs pinless or pinfed paper, at speeds up to 700 feet per minute, in web widths up to 21". High performance features: RSF5 Folder automatically compresses fanfold perforations, creating flat stacks for reliable inserter feeding. Both printer and Folder keep running as stacks are ejected. Space-savings transport carts move the large stacks on to the inserter room. Ease of use features: The RSF5 features automatic paper web loading, form size changes, and stack ejection, and builds vertical stacks of fanfold forms up to 36" high for both long printer and inserter runs with a minimum of operator attention required. Flexibility features: Job separation capability is included with the RSF5 Folder. An off-line stack inverter is available for A-Z and Z-A statement processing. Current Lasermax Roll Systems StackRack forms transport cart may be used with the RSF5. In the booth demonstration, the RSF5 Folder ran a 2-up statement application along with an RSU5 Unwind and Web Vision quality monitoring system.
