The CAPS Group acquires NEC, Inc. and NK Graphics from Group360 Visual Communications

Oct 18, 2006 -- The CAPS Group, a company serving advertising agencies, design firms and publishers, has acquired NEC, Inc. and NK Graphics from Group360 Visual Communications. "This acquisition is an excellent strategic fit for us," said John Reilly, chairman, The CAPS Group in a statement. "With it, we are adding to our clientele some large, well-known companies, including Hearst Corporation, National Geographic, Pearson and Southern Progress Corporation, which will help establish The CAPS Group as a leader in the magazine and book publishing segments." Combined sales of NEC, Inc. and NK Graphics is around $15 million. The CAPS Group's total annual revenue will now be approximately $90 million. This is the second acquisition The CAPS Group has made in 2006. In March the company acquired the educational product development, catalog, publication and New York-based advertising pre-media operations of Schawk, Inc.
