Productivity and versatility
Technologically advanced and incredibly versatile, these MFPs eliminate the necessity to have several devices by melding a printer, copier, scanner and fax machine into one. With speeds of 45 or 55 ppm in black & white and 45 ppm in full color as well as a remarkable standard paper capacity of 3,650 sheets that can be increased to 6,650, these devices take efficiency to the next level. Easy to access scan functions on the large full-color touch screen provide scan to email, scan to desktop or shared network folders using SMB, scan to the device HDD and scan to FTP. The addition of the optional single or dual line Super G3 fax kit allows users to take advantage of PC faxing and inbound fax routing to email.
To support graphics professionals, the cm4521 and cm5520 will offer an optional Fiery print controller from EFI. The Fiery printing system delivers powerful color management controls, variable data printing solutions, true Adobe PostScript 3 and sophisticated color tools such as Spot-On-Color and Pantone Color Matching. Featuring the latest System 8e architecture, the Fiery controller will bring color performance, control and precision to crucial documents.
Network connectivity and management
Whether printing, copying or scanning in black & white or color, these devices are designed to facilitate the flow of information throughout organizations. The standard Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base-T interface means easy installation on virtually any network. With standard PCL6 and PostScript 3 emulation print drivers, businesses can rely on the cm4521 and cm5520 to be highly productive in both PC and Mac environments. With various utilities that come standard and tools such as the Océ Desktop Document Manager and Printer Administration Utility, capturing and managing scanned documents and networked printing assets becomes effortless.

An optional biometric authentication unit, which uses the latest technology to recognize the distinctive physical characteristics of a user's finger veins, can be added to provide a new level of security.
