NELA introduces innovations GraphExpo 2006

Press release from the issuing company

Oakdale, MN - October 12, 2006 - NELA is introducing its newest innovations at their booth during GraphExpo 2006. Exhibits include products for the prepress room that help printers safely store and transport imaged plates while minimizing handling damage. In addition, NELA will be running live demonstrations on a Vision Punch Bender featuring the NELA remote control Service Wizard. NELA is debuting NELA Plate Storage Carts for the pre-press room. A variety of carts are designed to be docked behind optical or 3-point benders. The plates come out of the bender and instead of being stacked for immediate use, they are conveyed into the plate cart by a plate distribution unit which loads one plate after another into the storage slots of the cart. The cart then easily undocks for transport. The NELA Plate Cart comes in 4 versions: Horizontal plate storage, Vertical plate storage, Automatic loading and Manual loading. The Horizontal & Vertical versions have full job storage capacity and are available for any plate size. The Service Wizard demonstration shows NELA's unique capability of remote troubleshooting. A separate PC station on the booth demonstrates how NELA can service and troubleshoot the bender from any location. The NELA Vision Punch Bender is running live and will demonstrate vision punching and bending during the show.
