Standard Register Aligns With HP to Provide Enterprise Managed Print Services Offering

Press release from the issuing company

DAYTON, Ohio, Oct. 3 -- Standard Register announced today an agreement with HP that provides enterprise customers a single point of contact for enterprise document output requirements. Under the terms of the agreement, Standard Register's recently expanded SMARTworks enterprise document services platform will be included in HP's Managed Print Services offering, providing customers a suite of document services, software and on-site resources to help them optimize the creation, printing and distribution of documents throughout their organizations. With SMARTworks, customers can benefit from increased visibility and control of documents, printing and costs-whether they are created and printed internally or are externally sourced. Standard Register will also provide professional services, print sourcing and supply chain services, including kitting, fulfillment and distribution services, contracted print services, design, and other related document management services to complement what these organizations already receive from HP. Central to Standard Register's services is the role of onsite PrintConcierge printing experts that serve as a single point of accountability for sourcing, process improvement, job optimization and routing, and general assistance. "This agreement allows us to extend our reach, to help more companies meet their goals of reducing costs, improving processes and productivity, increasing compliance and avoiding risk," said Dennis Rediker, president and CEO of Standard Register. "It also strengthens our relationship with HP, in which both companies are already serving each other as suppliers." "Our customers are looking for an integrated approach to managing documents throughout their organizations. They need to know the total cost of ownership for all of their document supply chains, so more effective decisions can be made on investments that can drive growth for their companies," said Joanna Wampler, vice president, Imaging and Printing Services - Americas, HP. "Working with Standard Register extends the breadth of print management services that HP already offers."
