Carolina Graphic Services living larger with a new ROLAND 900 XXL

Press release from the issuing company

Oct 3, 2006 -- Carolina Graphic Services in Greensboro, North Carolina, is adding large format printing to its repertoire, while expanding its capacity, with a new ROLAND 900 XXL — a six color with coating and an extended delivery. Partners Jeff Tyska and Ron Woodward say they’re looking forward to the additional sales opportunities the new press will provide. “The ROLAND 900 XXL will open a lot of doors for us with its 64-inch format and the added capacity and capabilities it delivers,” Woodward says. The partners completed over a year of due diligence before selecting a press to move them up into the large format zone. “We based our decision for the ROLAND 900 XXL on industry referrals,” Woodward says. “We did a lot of research, calling on people in the industry who run MAN Roland presses, particularly multiple press users. We’re big on service, and that was a critical part of the discussion.” The profitable advantages provided by MAN Roland press technology and printservices support will be explored in the company’s Technology Tour at Graph Expo. Printers can reserve their seat by visiting manroland.com/graphexpo06.
