Cabinet NG is First Document Management Company to Earn "Gold" Status in Intuit Developer Network Program

Press release from the issuing company

Huntsville, Alabama, September 25, 2006 - Cabinet NG, the preeminent document management and workflow solution for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), today announced that its document management software for QuickBooks, CNG-Books, has earned Gold member status in the new Intuit Developer Network program. The Gold developer status provides QuickBooks users the assurance of quality, compatibility, and additional product/company reviews when considering solutions that integrate with QuickBooks. Andrew Bailey, President of Cabinet NG said, "We are proud that Cabinet NG is the first document management software company to achieve Gold status in Intuit's program. The seamless integration of CNG-Books with QuickBooks creates an easy-to-use document management solution that provides high levels of efficiencies in the accounting process. The Gold status is a testament to the value CNG-Books delivers in removing the pain of document complexity for accounting professionals." As part of qualifying for a Gold member status, CNG-Books had to first pass a formal QuickBooks Technical Review process by a third party certification laboratory. The independent QuickBooks Technical Review ensures applications meet the high quality standard of operation and compatibility expected by customers. The review verifies third party applications appropriately integrate, exchange data, and are compatible with the QuickBooks platform. Meeting Gold status also required an independent survey of existing customers be performed by a third party - Cabinet NG attained "Excellent" ratings on the IDN Customer Satisfaction Survey in the technical support and overall quality categories. Customers further endorsed Cabinet NG as a solid business choice by scoring "Excellent" on the "Willingness to Recommend" question. Cabinet NG and Intuit also joined efforts producing a customer case study that highlights the benefits a Papa John's Pizza franchisee receives as a result of the CNG-Books and QuickBooks combo. Bailey added, "We went the extra mile beyond qualifying CNG-Books for the Gold status by delivering results of product reviews performed by independent, third party accounting professionals, namely Susan Gaswirth and Jon Higgins." Their reviews are available at http://marketplace.intuit.com/AppCard/appinfo.asp?AppID=2581&CatID=210 and http://www.sleeter.com/articles/1156263626 respectively. CNG-Books streamlines QuickBooks data entry and document filing into one consistent and efficient electronic process. Vendor bills, customer payments and credit card receipts are brought into CNG-Books in a wide variety of formats including PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Text documents, and scanned or faxed images. With the click of a button, the data is entered in QuickBooks and the document is filed. If a Cabinet NG folder does not exist, CNG-Books automatically creates one using the customer/vendor information obtained from QuickBooks. While viewing the document, CNG-Books simplifies data entry by capturing information directly from QuickBooks using familiar pull down menus to save time and improve accuracy. Using CNG-Books users can add documents to existing transactions and supporting information such as contracts can be linked to a QuickBooks vendor or customer record. This methodology provides instant access to all supporting transaction documents and any associated documents about a customer or vendor from the QuickBooks software package- without leaving the desk.
