Artwork Systems Offices Officially Opened By Minister- President of the Flemish Government

Press release from the issuing company

Gent, Belgium – September 15, 2006 – Artwork Systems Group N.V., a world leader in professional pre-press software, is proud to announce that its new offices in Gent, Belgium, have been declared officially open by Mr. Yves Leterme, Minister-President for the Flemish Government. Artworks Systems and Enfocus can now be found at one central site – the prestigious ‘Artwork Toren’ on Bellevue – a well-known landmark in the area, both to locals and visitors. This former UCO tower is not only a familiar sight on Gent's skyline, but is also a building with a history, having been witness to the economic evolution of the area. In the 60's and 70's, UCO was known for its textiles and was a very important player in the area’s economy, so it is very apt that Artwork Systems is now taking over the offices as a key player in today’s ‘new’ economy: software development. Home to over 100 employees, this new office location has not only allowed the two sets of colleagues to come together under one roof, but has also provided the group with extra space including brand new, expanded training rooms and demonstration centers. Here, both customers and partners can experience the breadth and depth of the Artwork Systems Group’s award-winning solutions. Guido Van der Schueren, Artwork Systems’ Chairman, comments, “I am delighted that we have secured these new offices in such a prominent situation. All employees are now working together even more closely than before and we are certain that the move will benefit us greatly for the future.” He continues, “We are very honored to have had the presence of Mr. Leterme, Minister-President of the Flemish Government, to officially declare us open; as well as many of our valued customers, suppliers and partners.” Mr. Leterme adds, “I find it very encouraging to be present at the official opening of the new offices for a company such as the Artwork Systems Group. Having started out more than 10 years ago in Gent, the company has grown steadily to become a world leader in its field of expertise, and has always remained committed to the local area. I feel privileged to be a part of this occasion, and am certain that other Belgian companies that are just starting out will find Artwork Systems to be a great source of inspiration.” The ‘Artwork Toren’ offices were constructed in 1959 and at the time made a bold architectural statement, as some of the most modern buildings around. This forward-looking concept goes hand in hand with the development philosophies that both Artwork Systems and Enfocus also believe in – since their inception in 1992 and 1993 respectively, both have become known for their fresh perspective and creative approaches. Artwork Systems and Enfocus relocated to their new offices at the beginning of May and are working hard together to maximize administrative, marketing and intellectual resources to their fullest potential.
