Banta Wins Multiple Awards In 19th Annual Gold Ink Awards Competition

MENASHA, WI -- Banta Corporation, a leading printer of books, magazines, catalogs and direct marketing materials, as well as a global provider of supply-chain management services, today announced that it has been honored with nine awards in the 19th Annual Gold Ink Awards sponsored by Publishing Executive and Printing Impressions magazines. “Having Banta’s quality workmanship be honored not once, not twice, but nine times by printing industry professionals is a great honor. It is also well-deserved recognition for our dedicated and skilled employees who deliver outstanding products to our customers each and every day,” said Mike Allen, President, Banta Corporation Print Sector. This year’s Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from over 1,500 entries submitted within 50 different categories. Winning pieces surpassed their competitors based on print quality, technical difficulty and overall visual effect. Banta received awards in the following categories: Tabloid Magazines (3); Softcover Books (2); Specialty Magazines, Web; Magazine Covers; Annual Reports; Labels. The Annual Gold Ink Awards Banquet, held to honor the winners, will take place October 16, 2006, at McCormick Place, Chicago.
