Agfa to Demo :Anapurna XL at Visual Impact Image Expo Sydney Australia.

Press release from the issuing company

Agfa announced today that the :Anapurna XL, Agfa's newest UV wide-format, hybrid roll-to-roll/flat-bed printing system for indoor and outdoor signs and displays, will be demonstrated from September 13-16 at Visual Impact Image Expo 2006 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour Sydney, Australia. Attendees of the show will be able to come to the Agfa stand (stand #96, 97, 111,112) to see live demos of the newest printing system to offer high-quality printing for roll-to-roll and rigid applications. Mammoth Media (www.mammothmedia.net), a super-wide format digital printing company based in Weymouth, Massachusetts (USA), recently purchased the Anapurna XL. Founded in 2004, Mammoth Media produces billboards, banners, vehicle wraps, and many other wide-format items. "We had been looking to purchase a new UV printer for about a year-and-a-half," said Mark Rowell, owner and CEO, Mammoth Media. "When we first saw the :Anapurna we recognised that it had several features its competitors did not. Those features included the ability to print six-colour up to 98 inches (250 cm) and its white colour printing capability," Rowell added. Mammoth Media prides itself on its ability to take client projects from conception to completion, as well as quick turnaround times (three days from proof). The addition of the :Anapurna XL to its product line-up increases the company's print capabilities and further strengthens its offerings to its customers.
