AlphaGraphics Joins Forces with Junior Achievement

Press release from the issuing company

SALT LAKE CITY--Aug. 22, 2006 -- Reinforcing its commitment to the community, AlphaGraphics Inc., a leading visual communications franchisor and longtime innovator in the quick-print industry, is encouraging its more than 260 franchisees to participate with their local Junior Achievement (JA) chapters to help educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise and be successful in business and life. "Junior Achievement is a fitting partner for AlphaGraphics -- our ideals, which focus on the value and promotion of business, economics and entrepreneurship, are well aligned," said Kevin K. Cushing, CEO of AlphaGraphics, Inc. "We strongly encourage our franchisees to help raise funds or volunteer their time and expertise to this worthwhile cause." Several franchisees have already participated with their local JA chapters and found the experience to be one of the most rewarding since opening their business centers. Ed Rothschild of Denver, Colorado, has donated his printing services and volunteered as a teacher to at-risk middle school students, educating them on the value of staying in school. Robert Dunbar of Hartford, Connecticut, makes an annual contribution of $5,000 to his local chapter. Jodi Pierce of Duluth, Georgia, has been involved with JA for over 15 years. In fact, she served as the Chairman of Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa. "We applaud these franchisees' commitment to Junior Achievement," said Cushing. "Their participation is just one example of the way our AlphaGraphics business centers exert a positive influence on their communities."
