Ricoh Corporation Launches the Priport DX3340 - New Digital Duplicator

Press release from the issuing company

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Aug. 15 -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today launched the Priport DX3340 digital duplicator, designed to deliver quality prints at low cost. Offering an array of advanced capabilities that are easy to use, this new digital duplicator produces prints at about one-third of a cent per page. The Priport DX3340, while able to work in any high-volume environment, is especially designed to address the varied needs of schoolteachers and administrators. Allowing users to print up to 130 pages per minute (ppm) on a wide variety of paper stock -- including construction paper, card stock and NCR paper -- the Priport DX3340 is also equipped with a scanner that can accommodate textbooks as large as 11"x 17". To produce quality, readable copies, the scanner automatically eliminates unsightly binding margins. Optional cost-saving features can enhance the capabilities of the Priport DX3340 as well. A quick-changing color drum offers inks in every PMS(R) color, while an Embedded Controller allows it to print documents from any Windows PC. To make copying easier, the Priport DX3340 features a large, brightly lit multipurpose LCD that guides users through all print jobs. Further, masters can be quickly and neatly disposed of with the Snap Open Master Eject Box -- a time-saving feature that will make document management a cleaner, more efficient process in schools.
