Boston, August 14, 2006 - The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI) and AIIM, The ECM Association, have partnered to produce the 2006 Capture Conference in Palm Beach, FL on December 7 & 8. Designed for imaging and capture professionals, conference sessions will focus on emerging trends in imaging and capture, best practices in forms processing, distributed versus centralized capture, compliance strategies and more. Attendees from paper-intensive industries as well as document management service providers, will participate in educational sessions along technology and business tracks, panel discussions, and vendor demonstrations. “The capture element of the ECM space continues to return incredibly high ROI numbers for end users. TAWPI has done an excellent job explaining the importance of electronic capture and remittance of forms,” states AIIM President John Mancini. “AIIM will contribute our expertise in paper and borne digital document capture processes. Together, we can provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of digital input management.” “This is a great opportunity for two long-standing associations to finally have the opportunity to work collaboratively together on an event,” said TAWPI President Frank Moran. “I believe the combined efforts of TAWPI and AIIM in creating this capture conference will add tremendous value for our members by creating a more robust event.” An Expo area will feature product displays from sponsoring vendors in the Information Capture market.
