October 26, 2007 -- On October 23, 2007, Baldwin Technology entered into a distribution and manufacturing agreement for the products of the AWS Division of Thermal Care, Inc, Niles, Illinois.  Under the terms of the agreement, Baldwin has secured exclusive distribution and marketing rights to the AWS product line of fountain solution and ink temperature control systems for the graphic arts markets of North, Central and South America.  AWS products will now carry both Baldwin and AWS branding, and key AWS sales and technical support staff have joined Baldwin at its Customer Support Center in Wood Dale, Illinois.

The agreement with Thermal Care gives us an alternative local source for water and temperature control systems currently manufactured at our Competence Center for commercial sheet-fed and web products in Friedberg, Germany.”
