Press release from the issuing company

August 3, 2006, Chestnut Hill, MA -- Boston Print Buyers is kicking off its fall season with a September 13th dinner program that tackles the red-hot topic of VDP as well as Cross-Media Communications. The dinner will be held from 6 to 8:30 pm at the Millennium Bostonian Hotel in Boston, MA. The program will be sponsored by Reynolds DeWalt, a leader in cross-media communications. Reynolds DeWalt is located in New Bedford, MA. Their web site is www.reynoldsdewalt.com. VDP gives marketers the ability to target a customized message for each recipient, making true one-on-one communication a reality. Experts from Reynolds DeWalt will educate attendees about the many ways that VDP can be implemented and the multiple levels of complexity that are available. "The advent of desktop publishing may be regarded as the most revolutionary advancement to facilitate document creation, except for possibly movable type. The creative marketing potential that cross-media offers may be no less significant," said Peter DeWalt, President of Reynolds DeWalt. Specific topics will include database requirements (including what to do if you don't have a database!), what data elements can be variable, and utilization of VDP technology for data collection. In addition, presenters will dive into the world of cross-media communications, which takes variable campaign to the next level with personalized web sites and email. The evening's presenters will include Peter DeWalt, President; Scott Dubois, Cross-Media Specialist; Susan Roche, Cross-Media Specialist; and Eric Johnson, Vice-President, Sales.
