Jet Adds Ink Jet to Card Capabilities

Downers Grove, Illinois (8/2/06)- Jet has announced that they have added an ink jet system to their card personalization capabilities. This system not only produces cards at a high rate but also assures accuracy. The Modular Card Personalization System performs a wide range of applications in addition to ink jetting, such as signature panels, scratch offs and holograms. It also allows the capability to run a variety of substrates and sizes as well as data match verification. "This system makes it easy for us to track cards, resulting in a great benefit to our customers," says Joe Tenyer, Vice President of Operations. "It helps ensure the integrity and security of the customers’ card data." Jet was founded in 1947. Today, it is one of the largest, privately held sheet-fed commercial printers in the Chicago area. Jet employs approximately 200 people within its hub facility in Downers Grove, IL and its warehousing and fulfillment facility in Bolingbrook, IL.
