Hudson, N.H. - July 25, 2006 - Presstek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRST), a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-tech digital imaging solutions for the graphic arts markets, today announced the appointment of Klaus Schleicher to the position of Director, International Business Development. As such, Mr. Schleicher will lead the company's efforts to expand its presence worldwide. Most recently, Mr. Schleicher was Director of Sales and Engineering at Consul Risk Management, Inc., a security software consulting firm. At Consul Risk Management, Schleicher was responsible for strategic business and product development, successfully raising venture capital for the company's product development. In this role, Schleicher was also responsible for the sales, marketing and customer support operations of the company. Previously, Schleicher was the Director of Product Management, Intelligent Interface Solutions at Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products, Inc., where he successfully led a $120 million global division to find new markets and applications for existing and future technology. Schleicher has also held various senior marketing and product management positions at Bayer Corp., AGFA Gevaert, AG and Honeywell, AG. Mr. Schleicher holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering and Electronics from the Technical University of Giessen, Germany. Edward J.
