Tuesday, August 01, 2006

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO, July 31 -- R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company has been awarded a multi-year contract extension to provide 100% of the Automobile Club of Southern California's magazine printing, premedia, paper and logistics services. For more than 100 years, the Automobile Club of Southern California has been supporting its members with a wide range of products and services designed to meet their travel, automobile purchasing, insurance and financial needs. Tamara Hill, Publisher, member publications Automobile Club of Southern California, stated, "The success of the strategic partnership that our two organizations have enjoyed for the past 14 years gave us the confidence to both extend and expand our relationship for the future. Our decision to award RR Donnelley our premedia business, while at the same time converting our magazine print procurement to a single source, provides us with enhanced control over the complete production process. This in turn enables us to better provide our advertisers and readers with the high levels of quality and consistency that they demand." John Paloian, Group President, RR Donnelley's Publishing & Retail Services Group added, "We are delighted to expand our long term relationship with the Automobile Club of Southern California, as yet another customer elects to entrust us with complete responsibility for all aspects of 100% of their magazines' premedia, printing, binding and logistics services. We remain committed to providing the resources needed to continue to help customers across our entire platform maximize critical components of both product quality and operational efficiencies."
