Southern Litho Breaks Ground On New Manufacturing Center

Press release from the issuing company

July 25, 2006, Wake Forest, NC, Clark A. Casson, President & COO Southern Lithoplate, announced today the ground breaking for Southern Lithoplate's newest manufacturing center. The new Litho Center will be located adjacent to Southern Litho's Wake Forest Campus and will be online for Q2 2007. According to Casson, “Designed specifically as a world class Litho Center, Phase 1 includes an incremental 75 million ft2 of capacity that will serve both our premium news and commercial market customer's needs for digital CtP lithoplates. We already have nearly 100% of our new manufacturing line on site. All we have to do now is complete the facility itself. This addition will also enable Southern Litho to significantly increase our analog litho capacity as well.” Southern Litho continues our commitment to provide our loyal customers and the marketplace at large with choice, availability and quality by adding these capacities. This investment is in keeping with customer demand for Southern Litho's COBRA 830, VIPER 830 and analog litho products coupled with Southern Litho's commitment to be the Best in Service. To counter the past years reduction in litho manufacturing in North America, once the new Litho Center is complete, Southern Litho will provide approximately 225 million ft2 in total serviceable capacity from the Wake Forest campus.
