GMG claims positive results for period ending June 2006

Press release from the issuing company

Tuebingen (July 13th, 2006) – GMG, supplier of high-end color management and proofing solutions, announced today that the company had been able to achieve again an extraordinary increase in sales in the first half of 2006. The highest monthly sales in the company's history were recorded in June 2006. To date, GMG has succeeded in boosting its sales in 2006 by just over 30% compared to the same period of 2005 (more than 150% compared to the corresponding period of 2004), thus impressively underlining the sustained growth of GMG. Sales outside Germany rose rapidly and now account for well over one-half of total sales. All relevant regions recorded sales growth in software as well as media sales. “We are very pleased with this development in sales, since it means an increase in almost every region,” says Robert Weihing, Managing Director of GMG GmbH & Co. KG. “Our presence at numerous trade shows throughout the world earlier this year – be it with our own GMG booth at IPEX, or represented by our distributors and dealers – was highly promising, and gives us every reason to expect a strong second half of the year. Our color management solutions GMG ColorServer and GMG InkOptimizer, performed exceptionally well and contributed disproportionately to the sales growth."
