TORONTO, July 4 -- Grafikom LP announced today the acquisition on June 30th of Speedfast Color Press Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. Speedfast Color Press, privately owned and operated by President Mike Steiner, provides commercial printing and mailing services out of two locations in Edmonton and employs 65 individuals. Founded in the early 1960's and purchased by Mr. Steiner in 1998, Speedfast has established a solid reputation with a dedicated and loyal customer base by offering uncompromised quality, service, reliability and integrity. The addition of Speedfast to the company's current Edmonton location, grafikom.Jasper, will substantially increase Grafikom's presence in this city. Mr. Steiner will assume responsibility for both of the Edmonton operations as President. With two additional facilities in Calgary, the western arm of Grafikom has solidified its position as one of the largest printing groups in Alberta.
