New Goss M-600 arrives in Florida

Press release from the issuing company

JACKSONVILLE, FL (Oct. 23, 2007) -The Southeast Division of Trend Offset Printing has started installation of its newest addition, a Goss M-600 press with JF-55 combination folder, General Manager and Vice President of Sales Bill Fleegle announced.
Regarded as the best publications press in the market, the new M-600 will complement the current M-600 at the Jacksonville plant. Trend Southeast also will be installing a new Muller Prima 10-pocket stitcher as part of its $10 million expansion; the new state-of-the-art equipment will greatly increase the plant's capacity to print high-quality heatset magazines, publications, catalogs and retail advertising material.
"We are on schedule to have the press completely installed and have paper running through it by the end of December," Fleegle said. "The market has responded very well to our expansion and we're happy that we will be able to accommodate new and existing customers. We already have jobs booked on the press but we do have key windows available in 2008."
Said Wayne Davidson, director of manufacturing at Trend Southeast: "We have added some excellent press operators to the very strong team that we already had in place. The combination of the best equipment in the market and the best press crews in the Southeast will result in superior products for our customers."
Once operational, the new Goss M-600 will be the seventh that Trend operates at its nationwide platform of plants in Los Alamitos, CA; Carrollton, TX; and Jacksonville. Trend has the second-highest concentration of M-600s in North America.
