PrintStaff to change name to Semper International

Press release from the issuing company

Boston, MA – June 27, 2006 – PrintStaff, the leading placement firm for skilled help in the graphic arts and printing industry, announces that as of July 1, it will change its name to Semper International. The name was derived from the Latin root, semper: always. This reflects the organization’s broadened focus to serve more design and advertising agencies and marketing departments, as well as providing a wider range of skilled flexible staffing to its core customer base, printers and premedia shops. Semper will continue to provide temporary staffing for those involved in print production, from skilled premedia help such as designers, desktop publishers and preflighters; to output and print, such as press operators, duplicator operators, and on-demand press operators; to postpress, such as skilled bindery and finishing machine operators. However, the company now can provide administrative and clerical help—for example, office managers, customer service reps, estimators, and billing clerks. To reinforce their value proposition to new customers, Semper offers a free trial guarantee. If a company has a need for flexible staffing, it will have use of Semper’s skilled consultants to assist them for two hours on their next project—at no charge, if they are not satisfied. If the staffing continues past the two hour ‘trial period’, Semper will bill the client for the flexible help, as agreed in the terms of the contract. “We are all aware of how the print supply chain has extended itself from the designer to postpress. And, as a result, we have found that we are working with more and more in-plants as well as design and ad agencies,” comments David Regan, Semper CEO. “At the same time, many of our clients have been so impressed with the quality of our temporary staffing, that we are providing assistance with roles that were not originally our area of focus, such as administrative and business operations—all still within print or graphics organizations. For us, Semper literally means always being there for our clients. Whether you are big or small, an employer or a job seeker, Semper is always here to help you reach your goals. And, our new logo, with an exclamation point, is a visual translation of our never-ending enthusiasm for our business. We are always excited about what we do for every client—and our employees. Our results have astonished customers.”
