DAYTON, Ohio, June 27, 2006— WorkflowOne, one of North America’s largest and fastest growing providers of print, promotional products and value chain management solutions, today announced its Secure Rx Pad, a tamper-resistant prescription form containing built-in security features that can be customized to meet the different needs and compliance requirements in each state. Working close with law enforcement agencies and health care organizations across the country, WorkflowOne developed the Secure Rx Pad to help local communities nationwide combat the rapidly growing problem of prescription drug abuse and illegally forged prescriptions. Years of experience providing secure documents solutions have enabled WorkflowOne to develop the Secure Rx Pad, which is already certified for use in California, Florida and Vermont, where law mandates the use of tamper-resistant, counterfeit-proof prescription forms for a number of drug types. An early version of the Secure Rx Pad has been successfully implemented by Vermont’s Rutland Medical Center. WorkflowOne’s Secure Rx Pad features include serial numbers that allow each prescription to be traced. Other features include micro printing (small text that appears as a line until magnified and when copied becomes solid), hard-to-counterfeit watermarks, and a colorful, easily identifiable logo that lets pharmacies know special care is required. In addition, a key component of the Secure Rx Pad is WorkflowOne’s process of proactively validating each physician license number prior to creating prescription pads for Schedule I-V drugs.
