PLM Web Purchases Second Gammerler Palletizer

Press release from the issuing company

Hanover Park, IL, June 25, 2006 — Gammerler, the leading manufacturer of inline finishing equipment, announced today the sale of one PR 300 Robotic Palletizer to PLM Web in Markham, Ontario, Canada. The new palletizer was purchased as part of a plan to increase production efficiency and was chosen based on PLM Web’s previous success with Gammerler’s PR 500 robotic palletizer. “We are happy with the results we are achieving with our PR 500 so it was natural to consider Gammerler for our new palletizer, said Doug Andres,” General Manager of PLM Web. “After doing our research, we liked the technology the PR 300 offered as well as the fact that our operators are familiar with Gammerler’s equipment and staff. As a result, we feel very confident in our decision to purchase from Gammerler again”. Designed as a “plug-and-play” system, the fully assembled PR 300 robot arrives ready-to-install, minimizing set up times and reducing the average return on investment to less than two years. The PR 300 palletizes strapped and unstrapped bundles and uses Gammerler’s patented six-sided gripper that fully encompasses bundles on all sides during transport. A transfer module, slip sheet feeder and slip sheet magazine are also included as standard features.
