Castelle Announces Integration of FaxPress Fax Servers with EFI SendMe

Press release from the issuing company

MORGAN HILL, Calif.-June 26, 2006-- Castelle, a leader in 'all-in-one' network fax solutions for the business and enterprise markets, today announced its integration with EFI SendMe for complete delivery and management of faxes and other documents. EFI is the world leader in digital controllers, superwide format printers and inks, and print management solutions. "Castelle's integration with EFI SendMe provides customers with a scan-to-fax solution for paper and fax-intensive industries," said Scott McDonald, president and CEO of Castelle. "By leveraging existing network resources, customers are able to work and communicate more efficiently with their clients and partners." The Castelle Fax Connector for EFI SendMe enables customers to fax documents from existing copiers and multi-function products (MFPs) using SendMe's intuitive interface and a Castelle FaxPress(TM), FaxPress Premier(TM) or FaxPress Enterprise(TM) fax server. Once installed, a Castelle Fax button appears on the SendMe main screen. To fax a document, users are prompted to scan the document and then enter a list of recipient names and fax numbers. Recipient information can be entered directly from SendMe or selected from any database address book. Users can also select a cover page and enter a short message to appear on the cover page. An administration utility is provided to allow administrators to select which FaxPress server and user account to use when faxing. "SendMe provides walk-up convenience, flexibility, and security for streamlined communications, allowing customers to leverage printer, IT, and ECM investments for immediate savings and enhanced productivity," said Frank Mallozzi, EFI senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing. "Integrating with Castelle's network fax solutions supports our objective of ensuring that SendMe is the most powerful and easy-to-use scan and distribute document portal on the market."
