Enovation Expands Presence in Wide Format Sector

Press release from the issuing company

VALHALLA, N.Y. (June 23, 2006) – In response to the burgeoning wide format market, Enovation is bringing together the company’s technical expertise in color and its supplier partnerships to create a team of experts poised to help customers navigate this ever-changing market. “We are in the imaging business, and that includes wide format display graphics,” explains Steve Bennett, who will lead the new group and serve as its vice president of sales and marketing. “Wide format offers incredible opportunities for our customers to expand their businesses by adding a new capability and offering additional services to their customers.” Bennett served as Enovation’s vice president of product marketing and communications before taking his current post. “The marketing strategies of many end-users already include the design and production of display graphics, so printers may have a built-in market for these products,” Bennett adds. “Currently, end users often purchase these products from sign shops, but chances are good that if they put their trust in their printer for the more critical offset work, they’ll also be willing to do the same with their wide format needs.” In addition to Bennett, the wide format group welcomes Tod Ratcliffe, who will serve as product marketing manager for the group’s full line of products. Ratcliffe will assist with the marketing strategies for the wide format group, coordinating and planning for the creation of a full line of solutions and products, designed to address the needs of entry-level as well as high-end customers. Ratcliffe will also be responsible for assembling a full line of ink and media offerings. Wide format printing continues to see the largest growth within in the graphic arts industry and it’s estimated that the U.S. market for wide format engines and media already surpasses $2 billion and is still growing. Enovation is in a unique position to help customers contemplating adding these capabilities. With a full team of technical specialists, Enovation can help customers not only implement new equipment, but also ensure it integrates smoothly within the customer’s existing workflow. Additionally, Enovation provides extensive and ongoing support and service for its products and makes sure that the workflow remains smooth and that the customer can achieve accurate and reliable color. Enovation will debut its offerings during SGIA ’06 (the Specialty Printing & Imaging Technology Show) in Las Vegas on Sept. 26-29.
