OutputLinks Presents 2006 Award for Stewardship

Press release from the issuing company

HOUSTON, Tex., U.S.A (June 22, 2006)-- OutputLinks, the leading research and information resource for users and vendors in the high volume transaction output (HVTO) industry, recognized Elixir Technologies with the 2006 OutputLinks Stewardship Award for its work with Pakistani earthquake victims. The OutputLinks Stewardship Award recognizes companies and individuals in the HVTO community that exemplify good stewardship through the investment of their time, resources, money and talent to enhance the world in which we live. The OutputLinks Stewardship Award is commemorated with a $1,000 University Scholarship, funded by OutputLinks and administered by The Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF). "We live in a world that has grown increasingly smaller as a result of technology, and that increases our responsibility as global caretakers," said Andy Plata, publisher of OutputLinks. "Elixir Technologies deserves recognition for taking an active part in relieving the suffering of earthquake victims half way around the world, and we're very pleased to honor the company with this award. We hope Elixir's work will inspire other mid-size companies to participate in corporate stewardship." Founded in 1985, Elixir Technologies has long been a leading global developer of innovative software for document composition, resource management and print stream conversion.
