Xerox Expands Coated Paper Line To Give Customers Even More Digital Printing Flexibility

Press release from the issuing company

June 19, 2006 -- Xerox Corporation has enhanced its supplies portfolio with another addition to its premium digital coated paper line, giving customers more choices when producing applications such as catalogues, direct-mail pieces, brochures, posters and marketing collaterals. The Xerox Digital Color Select Gloss product line has been extended to include 100 lb. text and cover weights in 17" x 11", 18" x 12" and 20.5" x 14.33" sizes, and is designed for use on a variety of Xerox digital printing systems including the Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Press. A full list of recommended media for Xerox equipment can be found in the Paper Resource Centre at www.xerox.com/paper. The new extended weight range features a 90 brightness and a blue-white shade - enabling rich, sharp, high quality color images and is available immediately. The papers join the existing Xerox Digital Color Elite Gloss and Silk and Digital Color Supreme Gloss coated paper lines, which all feature an exclusive coating for superior smoothness and benchmark toner adhesion. All Xerox papers are engineered at the Xerox Media & Compatibles Technology Center, an organization devoted to the design and development of paper suitable for the demands of digital printing.
